Sayulita Inspiration

This year we headed to Sayulita, Mexico for our annual team Tono trip. Sayulita is a beautiful beachside town near Puerto Vallarta, best known for it’s vibrant colors and active surf culture. The town is surrounded by lush greenery, pristine waves, and is full of historic and colorful architecture.

While we visited, every street was decorated with rows of Ojo de Dios, ceremonial objects created by weaving layers of yarn on a wooden cross. Every year the people of Sayulita create thousands of the Ojo de Dios for the Day of the Dead festivities and try to break their record of over 18,000.

We were greatly inspired by the rich hues surrounding us during our days of exploration and were thrilled to see Tono colors incorporated in the mix. We’ve put together a collection of our favorite tones as seen in the stunning scenery of Sayulita. Find the full collection here.
